All around good bar

Your basic bar with above average bar food. It is a big bar so you don't have to deal with the crowded hole in the wall that many downtown bars present. Typically there is a band so that really makes it nice ~ get there early for dinner…

Mainstreet has many good happy hours specials for drinks and appetizers. They also have good dinner specials. They have live music on weekends and sometimes other day.
Great spot for lunch.

If you want to avoid chain restaurants, you have a real find with this original. Good solid pub fare with daily specials available. They do a decent chili in season and most items are very reasonably priced. Service is very good.
Pros: Good food at a fair price Cons: It's a relic of days gone by.
